Is it winter?  Residents are asked to remove snow from their sidewalks within 24 hours - ordinance 2012-0072.

Burning garbage?  Unlawful burning is both a nuisance for your neighbors and an EPA health hazard.  Borough Residents are asked to review the Burning Ordinance Summary and comply with the Herndon Borough Burning Ordinance 2013-082 (with amendments 1 & 2).  Residents who witness burning violations are asked to contact the borough office, 570-758-3264.  Or, complete an Online Complaint Form and turn in to the Borough Office, or give to your Council Member, or Mayor.
