Apartment for Rent - Updated 7/1/2018.  Herndon Borough has an apartment for rent:  Applicants should email hernboro@tds.net for information or call:  570-758-3264.  The property is upstairs from the borough office, 2 bedroom, with heat, water, sewer, and garbage removal included.  This is a municiple building and cannot allow smoking or pets.  Rent is $575 per month with $575 security deposit.

Alerts - Updated 7/1/2018.  Burning garbage?  Unlawful burning is both a nuisance for your neighbors and an EPA health hazard.  Borough Residents are asked to review the Burning Ordinance Summary and comply with the Herndon Borough Burning Ordinance 2013-082 (with amendments 1 & 2).  Residents who witness burning violations are asked to contact the borough office, 570-758-3264.  Or, complete an Online Complaint Form and turn in to the Borough Office, or give to your Council Member, or Mayor.

Compost Dump Usage - Updated 7/1/2018.  Herndon Borough is now offering accompanied access to their compost dump.  Anyone who wishes to bring their yard debris must prior coordinate by contacting any current Council Member, Mayor, or borough employee.  Use the weblinks to the left of this page for their contact information.
